Your new role
As a Technical Services Officer, you will provide daily support for planned and reactive maintenance activities, coordinate electrical contractors and help ensure the reliability of airport electrical assets.
Key duties include:
- Coordinating scheduled, corrective and reactive maintenance activities.
- Supporting Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) systems and associated infrastructure.
- Ensuring compliance and legislative maintenance requirements are completed.
- Maintaining accurate records, manuals and asset information.
- Assisting with asset condition reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participating in an after-hours on-call roster for critical airport assets.
- Promoting safe work practices, risk management and environmental compliance.
What you'll need to succeed
- NT A Grade Electrical Fitter/Mechanic Licence.
- Current NT Driver's Licence or ability to obtain one.
- Airfield Ground Lighting experience or relevant training.
- Ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
- Ability to pass an Australian Federal Police Check.
- Strong communication and computer skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage maintenance inspections and reporting.
- Ability to obtain an Airside Driving Licence Category 4.
