Your new company
Hays is partnering with a WA State Government organisation seeking a customer-focused and organised Facilities Operations Officer to support the day-to-day administration and operation of a public facility.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service and administrative experience who enjoys a varied role involving stakeholder engagement, financial administration and operational support.

Your new role

  • Provide high-quality frontline customer service via phone, email and face-to-face interactions.
  • Respond to enquiries and resolve issues in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Support the day-to-day operation of a public facility, ensuring efficient service delivery.
  • Prepare reports, correspondence and administrative documentation.
  • Process invoices and accounts payable transactions.
  • Collect, receipt and reconcile payments in accordance with financial procedures.
  • Monitor outstanding accounts and assist with debt recovery processes where required.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases.
  • Coordinate access requests, allocations and associated administrative processes.
  • Assist with business improvement initiatives and operational projects.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Experience in a customer-facing administration or service delivery environment.
  • Cash handling, receipting and reconciliation experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Sound problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and financial or accounting systems.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Experience supporting facilities, infrastructure, asset management or operational environments will be highly regarded.
