This role is with a company operating in the luxury industry, offering opportunities to work within an established operations and supply chain department.

Job Description

• Coordinate overseas manufacturing operations and end-to-end supply chain processes, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
• 5 days on-site permanent position in the Sydney CBD.
• Collaborate with overseas suppliers to negotiate contracts and maintain strong relationships.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure stock availability aligns with business needs.
• Analyse supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving strategies.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulations and standards.
• Work closely with internal teams to forecast demand and plan procurement activities accordingly.
• Resolve supply chain issues promptly to minimise disruptions.
• Prepare reports and provide insights to support decision-making processes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Supply Chain and Operations Coordinator should have:

• Strong understanding of operations and supply chain management principles in the luxury industry.
• Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Relevant qualifications in procurement, supply chain, or a related field.
