Your new role
- Mechanical assembly of heavy machinery and equipment
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Installation of hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical components
- Fault finding, diagnostic work and equipment testing
- Conducting repairs, maintenance and modifications as required
- Ensuring all work is completed to quality and safety standards
- Collaborating with production, engineering and service teams
What you'll need to succeed
- Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter, Fitter & Turner or equivalent
- Experience within manufacturing, heavy equipment, mining, construction equipment or related industries
- Strong mechanical aptitude with proven fault-finding abilities
- Experience working with hydraulics and pneumatics highly regarded
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Team-oriented attitude with excellent problem-solving skills
