An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced compliance and project professional to join a well-regarded public sector organisation on an immediate temporary assignment. This role is offered on an initial three-month contract with the potential for extension or transition into a longer-term arrangement for the right candidate. Working within a collaborative team environment, you will play a key role in supporting the management, monitoring, and close-out of grants and projects, ensuring compliance obligations and financial requirements are met.

- Support the administration and oversight of grant-funded projects
- Monitor compliance against funding agreements, policies, and frameworks
- Conduct financial reviews and analyse project expenditure and reporting outcomes
- Prepare reports, briefings, and recommendations for stakeholders
- Assist with project governance, risk management, and audit-related activities
- Support project close-out activities and ongoing grant management processes
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Previous experience in auditing, compliance, assurance, or a related discipline
- Grant management and/or project management experience
- Strong financial analysis, review, and reporting capabilities
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
