About the Role
As our Applications Development and Architecture Manager, you will play a critical role in leading the development and integration of enterprise applications. You’ll provide technical leadership and set strategic direction to ensure our systems are scalable, secure, and future-ready.
You’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders, vendors, and internal IT teams to define architectural standards and best practices, while driving operational excellence and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on technical leadership in application development and support
- Define and lead the strategic vision for DFC’s application architecture
- Design secure, scalable, and reliable solutions that align with business needs
- Collaborate across departments to gather and translate business requirements into effective technical solutions
- Evaluate emerging technologies and drive innovation
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards
- Coach and mentor internal teams to embed architectural best practices
What You Bring
- 5+ years in software development with strong application architecture experience
- Proficiency across development stacks such as Java, .NET, Node.js, Python, MS PowerApps, React, etc.
- Expertise in microservices, API management, integration frameworks, and cloud platforms
- Experience leading enterprise-scale development projects and modernisation efforts
- Extensive hands-on experience with MuleSoft, including designing, developing, and managing integrations
- Knowledge of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD methodologies
- Familiarity with IaaS, PaaS, SaaS models and cloud-native architecture
- Excellent communication skills with a strategic mindset
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Advanced certifications preferred (e.g., TOGAF, AWS/Azure Architect)
- Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
