Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking an experienced Stainless Steel Welder (MIG/TIG) to join our team.
This role offers a mix of workshop and onsite work, fabricating and welding high-quality stainless steel components for custom projects and production environments.
About the Role
As a Stainless Steel Welder, you will be responsible for:
- High-quality MIG and TIG welding of stainless steel
- Fabrication of custom stainless steel components
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Working with both thin and heavy gauge stainless steel
- Maintaining high workmanship and quality standards
- Workshop and occasional onsite installation work
About You
To be successful, you will have:
- Australian Trade Qualification in Fabrication/Welding (or equivalent)
- Full working rights in Australia
- Proven experience in stainless steel MIG and TIG welding
- Strong fabrication skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Highly regarded:
- Experience with food-grade stainless steel fabrication
- Experience with architectural stainless steel projects
- Site installation experience
