Techforce Personnel is partnering with leading mining and drill & blast operations to recruit experienced Blast Hole Drillers for multiple FIFO opportunities across Western Australia.
We're offering long-term positions across established hard-rock mining operations, with rates up to $75/hr, multiple roster options and genuine pathways into permanent employment.

Your Responsibilities
- Production blast hole drilling across open-pit mining operations
- Operating drill rigs safely and efficiently to drill plans and production requirements
- Maintaining accurate hole depth, alignment and quality
- Monitoring penetration rates, ground conditions and drill performance
- Completing pre-start inspections and operational checks
- Identifying equipment faults and assisting with minor maintenance and breakdown requirements
- Completing required drill reports and safety documentation
- Working closely with Drill & Blast, production and maintenance crews
- Maintaining high standards of equipment care and housekeeping
- Consistently working within site safety procedures and critical controls
What We're Looking For
- Previous Blast Hole Drilling experience within open-pit mining
- Experience operating D65, T45, L7, DPI 1500 and/or Leopard DI650i highly regarded
- Experience on other production Drill & Blast rigs will also be considered
- Hard-rock mining experience preferred
- Current Australian Driver's Licence – HR highly regarded
- Current National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen
- Strong mechanical aptitude and equipment care
- Ability to work FIFO day/night shift rosters
- Strong commitment to safety and production
