Key Responsibilities
Plan delivery routes and meet scheduled delivery timelines.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
Safley load, unload, strap, and restrain cargo, tail lift, or manual handling techniques as required.
Maintain accurate driver logbooks, delivery dockets, consignment notes.
Ensure compliance with road transport regulations, fatigue management, and company policies.
Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, supervisors, and clients.
Adhere to workplace health and safety requirements at all times.
Operate heavy vehicles (HR/HC/MC) to transport goods safely and efficiently.
Requirements
Relevant Australian driver licence (HR, HC or MC)
Minimum 1 year of relevant truck driving experienceGood knowledge of road safety regulations and fatigue management.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Safley load, unload, strap, and restrain cargo, tail lift, or manual handling techniques as required.
Maintain accurate driver logbooks, delivery dockets, consignment notes.
Strong communication and organisational skillsWhite Card (preferred)
Forklift licence (desirable but not mandatory)
