FUNCTIONS
- Analyse the performance, reliability and operational efficiency of engineering technologies supporting the mutual association’s financial services, including technical systems, equipment and operational infrastructure. Assess existing configurations and proposed technological solutions, develop technical modifications to address identified failures, and validate these improvements through testing before their implementation in projects aimed at maintaining uninterrupted service delivery.
- Develop and refine preventive and corrective maintenance strategies by evaluating existing maintenance technologies and emerging technical solutions applicable to the association’s operational assets. Adapt maintenance methods, equipment configurations and monitoring tools to operational requirements, conducting technical trials and implementing validated improvements through engineering projects that increase asset availability, minimise service interruptions and extend equipment life.
- Assess engineering and maintenance processes using performance indicators, equipment condition assessments and operational data to determine the suitability of existing and proposed technologies. Modify technical parameters, monitoring arrangements and system configurations where required, and conduct performance testing to support the implementation of engineering improvements that strengthen the reliability and efficiency of infrastructure supporting financial service delivery.
- Design and improve technical workflows for equipment maintenance, infrastructure support and resource utilisation by examining available engineering technologies and adapting them to the association’s operational needs. Develop and test revised technical procedures, equipment arrangements and system interfaces, incorporating validated solutions into engineering projects that standardise practices and improve performance across service locations.
- Provide technical advice on the selection, adaptation and integration of engineering technologies used in the association’s technical systems and supporting infrastructure. Investigate technological alternatives, recommend modifications to suit project requirements, and support prototype evaluation, acceptance testing and practical implementation, ensuring that engineering solutions achieve the required performance, service continuity and applicable technical and safety standards.
