Role Description/Criteria
St. Scholastica's Catholic Primary School located in Burwood is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and friendly classroom teacher to join our school one day a week on Wednesdays 0.24 FTE commencing 27th January, 2027.
The successful applicant will be required to:
support the Catholic ethos of the school
display knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum
build and maintain positive respectful relationships with students, colleagues and parents
work flexibly and collaboratively within staff teams
have a knowledge and/ or experience in explicit Instruction, vision of learning and vision of engagement
demonstrate understanding and implementation of MACS’ Explicit Instruction model to support effective teaching and improved student learning outcomes.

Will consider this position in conjunction with an ongoing Visual Arts teaching position 0.24 FTE for the right candidate.
Special Requirements
VIT registration
Accreditation to teach RE in a Catholic School or willingness to do so.
