One of Australia's high profile Federal Government departments is looking to engage an experienced Agile Scrum Master to be responsible for enabling high-performing Agile teams to deliver business value by applying Agile principles, removing impediments, facilitating collaboration, managing risks and dependencies, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the section which maintains multiple ICT projects. The successful Agile Scrum Master will secure a 12 month contract with the view to be extended for a further 24 months and receive a rewarding hourly rate!
The successful Agile Scrum Master will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Agile Delivery facilitation including Sprint Planning Daily Standup, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives and Backlog Refinement.
- Coach team members, Product Owens and stakeholders on Agile principles and practices.
- Support the development of high-performing, cross-functional teams.
The successful Agile Scrum Master will have experience in the following:
- Demonstrated experience leading Agile delivery teams in complex environments, ensuring the successful delivery of business outcomes whilst applying Scrum and Agile principles.
- Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships and influence stakeholders at all organisational levels to support Agile delivery outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience coaching individuals and teams in Agile principles, fostering high performing, self-managing teams.
