Daily Tasks
- Forklift operating (counterbalance experience is a must)
- High-reach forklift operation in some areas, 7 bays high, single bay deep
- Both pallet and unit picking and packing using RF scanning and high-reach RC and RM forklifts for both warehouse and truck loading/unloading operations
- Completing manual handling duties
- Working within a freezer/chiller environment
- Storing and maintaining materials, equipment, and tools
- Identifying and escalating Food Safety & Quality, hazard, and risk issues to the relevant leadership teams
You will bring to this role
- Previous RC and/or RM stand-up forklift experience desirable
- Warehouse and/or Distribution experience or similar required
- Previous experience operating double deep forklifts
- Experience with RF scanners
- Understand and follow instructions and procedures
- Work well independently, within a team environment
- Communicate well both written and verbally
- Showing commitment, reliability, and motivation
- Respond calmly when faced with obstacles
- Physically fit and repetitively lift 5kg-15kg
- Flexibility to cover various shifts such as regular weekend work and public holidays
