About the Company:
Our client is a well-established provider of HVAC and mechanical maintenance services, delivering planned and reactive maintenance solutions across commercial, industrial and government facilities throughout Sydney. With a strong reputation for service delivery and long-term client relationships, they pride themselves on providing high-quality maintenance solutions backed by an experienced technical team. Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint an experienced Service Supervisor to support the day-to-day management of their maintenance division.
The Role:
This is a hands-on operational role where you'll work closely with technicians, clients and internal stakeholders to ensure maintenance works are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably. You'll be responsible for coordinating field technicians, monitoring service delivery, improving operational performance and ensuring customer expectations are consistently exceeded.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and supervise a team of service technicians across planned and reactive maintenance.
- Allocate daily work and monitor technician utilisation. Ensure preventative maintenance schedules and reactive works are completed within KPI timeframes.
- Manage customer enquiries and maintain strong client relationships.
- Monitor labour recovery, profitability and service performance.
- Review outstanding work orders and ensure jobs progress through to completion.
- Assist with quotations, variations and defect rectification works.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers where required.
- Maintain accurate service records and reporting within the service management system.
- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and operational efficiencies.
About You
You'll ideally come from an HVAC, mechanical services or building services maintenance background and enjoy working in a fast-moving service environment.
You'll have:
- Previous experience as a Service Supervisor, Senior Service Coordinator or Service Manager.
- Experience coordinating field technicians within a maintenance environment.
- Strong understanding of preventative and reactive maintenance operations.
- Exposure to technician scheduling, labour utilisation and service KPIs.
- Experience managing customer relationships and resolving operational issues.
- Commercial awareness around profitability and resource planning. Experience using service management software (Aroflo experience highly regarded).
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
