Yardman/Storeman | Yatala | QLD

CELOTTI WORKFORCE is currently seeking an experienced Yard Hand / Workshop Hand to join a busy workshop team in Yatala, QLD.

This is an ongoing opportunity for a hands-on and reliable candidate to support the day-to-day operations of a workshop environment. Working alongside Diesel Fitters, you will assist with general workshop duties, yard maintenance, equipment organisation and stores support as required. The ideal candidate is proactive, physically fit and happy to get their hands dirty wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness, organisation and safety throughout the workshop and yard.
• Assist Diesel Fitters with general workshop support and labouring duties.
• Organise materials, tools and equipment to keep workshop operations running smoothly.
• Assist with general stores duties as required.
• Carry out general yard maintenance and keep work areas tidy.
• Wash down heavy machinery and equipment once the wash bay is operational.
• Provide general assistance to the workshop team as required.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience as a Yard Hand, Workshop Hand or in a similar hands-on role.
• Experience working around heavy machinery, diesel equipment or workshop environments highly regarded.
• Comfortable assisting with general stores duties when required.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour.
• Strong organisational skills and the initiative to work independently.
• Reliable, proactive and willing to assist wherever needed.
• Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport.

What We Can Offer:

• Competitive pay rates | $44.89–$47.31 per hour + penalties, depending on experience.
• Monday to Friday | 6.30am - 3.30pm / 4.30pm 
• Ongoing work with the potential for temp-to-perm for the right candidate.
• Immediate start available.
• Weekly pay.
