Maintenance Electrician | Food Manufacturing Immediate Opportunity | Permanent Role | Career Growth Available

We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a well-established food manufacturing business operating a modern, highly automated production facility in South East Queensland.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business that continues to invest in its people, equipment and site infrastructure. You’ll play a key role in maintaining plant reliability, supporting production, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
About the Role Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Electrical fault finding and breakdown response across production and packaging equipment
  • PLC fault finding and diagnostics across automated manufacturing lines
  • Preventative and predictive maintenance activities
  • Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
  • Troubleshooting motors, drives, sensors, VSDs, instrumentation and control systems
  • Assisting with equipment upgrades, installations and project work
  • Ensuring all maintenance activities are completed safely and in accordance with site standards

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Current QLD Electrical Licence (Grade Electrical Licence)
  • Experience working as a Maintenance Electrician within a food manufacturing, FMCG or processing environment
  • Strong PLC fault-finding capability
  • Experience with automated production and packaging equipment
  • Knowledge of motors, drives, sensors, conveyors and industrial control systems
  • A proactive approach to troubleshooting and continuous improvement
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality standards
  • Full Australian working rights (sponsorship is not available for this position)
