Job description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assembler to join our team. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with experience in panel board assembly who can work efficiently with regular supervision while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and wire electrical control panels and switchboards.
- Perform diagnostic wiring and troubleshooting activities as required.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams and assembly plans.
- Operate press and clamping equipment safely and effectively.
- Complete assembly tasks in accordance with production schedules and quality standards.
- Conduct quality checks and inspections throughout the assembly process.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience with panel board or switchboard assembly.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and plans.
- Basic knowledge and experience using hand tools and assembly equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
