Technical ICT Analyst / Solution Designer
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into technology solutions.
- Create technical designs and solution plans for ICT systems.
- Support technology upgrades and improvements.
About the role
You will work closely with technical specialists, business stakeholders, project and program managers and senior executives to understand business needs and translate them into practical technology solutions. Candidate must be able to obtain Baseline Security Clearance.
Responsibilities
- Review and understand existing ICT systems, applications, infrastructure and databases.
- Identify technology gaps, risks, problems and areas for improvement.
- Create technical designs, solution plans and technology roadmaps.
- Turn business needs into practical technical solutions.
- Support technology upgrades, system replacements and ICT improvement projects.
- Review the technology and infrastructure supporting critical business systems.
- Prepare business cases, user journeys, technical specifications and other supporting documents.
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in Technical Business Analysis, Solution Architecture, Technical Architecture, Systems Analysis or a similar technical ICT role.
- Strong experience in technical analysis and solution design.
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform.
- Good knowledge of Windows Server and SQL/databases.
- Experience with Unix and/or Oracle environments.
- Experience analysing and designing complex ICT systems or infrastructure.
- Good understanding of architecture frameworks and methodologies.
- Candidate must be able to obtain Baseline Security Clearance.
