About the Client
Our client is a leading Australian manufacturer and supplier of reinforcing steel and mesh products, delivering high-quality, sustainable reinforcement solutions to the construction industry since 1998. Our client supports residential, commercial, civil, and large-scale infrastructure projects through an extensive network of manufacturing facilities and branches.
What You Will Be Doing
Our client is seeking a Production Labourer to join their team in Bells Creek in a long-term role. The successful applicant will be required to work Monday Friday working 8hr shifts between 5am-5pm. This hands-on role suits someone who has experience working in factory environments.
In this position you will be:
- Operating steel processing machinery such as Off Core, Bending and Cutting machines
- Setting up, adjusting and monitoring machines
- Loading raw steel materials into machinery and production lines
- Measuring, inspecting and verifying steel products using measuring equipment and gauges
- Interpreting production orders, drawings and work instructions
- Safely operating overhead gantry cranes and forklifts (where licensed and required)
What You Will Need
- Drivers Licence & reliable transport
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screen
- Forklift licence & experience (advantageous)
- Previous experience in a factory or warehouse is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical fitness to handle the demands of the role
