About the Client
Our Client is a respected civil construction contractor delivering major infrastructure projects across South East Queensland. They are currently undertaking a road upgrade project and are seeking an experienced Civil Labourer to join their team and support project delivery.
What you will be doing
As an Experienced Civil Labourer you will be responsible for the below duties:
- Assist with road construction, maintenance, and repair works.
- Perform general manual labour, including digging, shovelling, raking, and moving materials.
- Assist with excavation, trenching, drainage, and earthworks.
- Prepare and level surfaces for asphalt, concrete, kerbing, and other roadworks.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely.
- Assist plant operators and tradespeople as required.
- Load, unload, and move construction materials and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe worksite, including removal of debris and waste.
What you will need
To be successful in this role you will need to have the below:
- Previous civil labouring experience (min 6 months)
- White Card
- Drivers Licence and reliable transport
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work effectively within a civil construction team
