Project Manager - Technology Transformation
Contract | ASAP Start - June 2027 | Potential Extension
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a major financial services client on a strategic technology transformation initiative focused on a core finance platform.
The program is moving into the design phase and requires a hands-on, technology-focused Project Manager to drive critical technology delivery, coordinate supporting technology workstreams, and facilitate the transition from design into implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive technology delivery across multiple interdependent workstreams.
- Coordinate technology activities, dependencies, risks, issues and milestones.
- Support the transition from solution design through to implementation.
- Establish effective ways of working in a complex and evolving environment.
- Navigate changing scope, ambiguity and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams and external implementation partners.
About You
- Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering complex technology initiatives within the Financial Services sector - experience with core banking platform or insurance platform upgrades or replacements or the like is an advantage.
- Strong experience coordinating multiple technology workstreams and managing dependencies.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with evolving requirements.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and delivery skills.
- Experience in large-scale technology transformations is highly desirable.
Contract Details: ASAP start through to June 2027, with potential for extension as part of a broader three-year transformation program.
