Credit Manager
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Credit Manager to join a highly regarded global FMCG organisation. This is a hands-on, commercially focused role where you will take ownership of the end-to-end credit function while partnering closely with Sales, Commercial and Finance teams to manage risk, improve cash flow and drive strong customer outcomes.
The Opportunity
- Managing the end-to-end credit and accounts receivable function
- Overseeing credit risk, customer exposures, credit limits and payment performance
- Leading collections and working capital initiatives, with a focus on improving cash flow
- Managing customer deductions, claims, rebates, settlements, returns and disputes
- Partnering closely with Sales and Commercial teams to resolve customer issues and find practical solutions
- Driving improvements across reporting, processes, automation and finance transformation
- Preparing and presenting credit, collections and working capital reporting
- Leading, coaching and developing a direct report
- Acting as a key Finance partner across the wider business to strengthen controls and mitigate financial risk
About You
- Experience in Credit Management/Accounts Receivable
- Experience within FMCG, retail, food & beverage or a similar commercial environment
- Strong experience managing deductions, rebates, claims, disputes and collections
- Proven credit risk, working capital and cash flow management experience
- SAP experience (desirable)
- Intermediate Excel and strong reporting/analytical capability
- Previous people leadership or team management experience
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
