Costco Ipswich: PT Bakery Wrapper

Daily tasks and responsibilities:

• Provides and ensures prompt and courteous member service.

• Maintains current product knowledge of bakery items.

• Moves product filled oven racks. Un-trays product from baking pans onto packaging. Garnishes baked goods according to item requirements; stacks used baking pans on pan dollies.

• Scales finished product and records on weight verification sheets.

• Packages and wraps baked goods by hand or wrapping machine according to merchandise manual.

• Uses racks or carts to move or stock wrapped product onto tables and pallets. Responsible to maintain date rotation and merchandising presentation throughout the day.

• Assists with other bakery duties as needed.

• Follows Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) guidelines as it refers to proper cleaning and sanitation of all equipment required by this position.

• Completes and complies with Costco policies of Quality Assurance, Food Safety Certification and all Safety training required by warehouse and department.

• Assists with monthly inventory

Non-Essential Functions and Tasks:

• Assists with front end duties as necessary.

• Assists in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.

*Heavy Lifting is required in this role*

Must be available to work a rotating roster, including AM & PM & weekends.
