Are you an Occupational Therapist looking for a flexible contractor role within a supportive multidisciplinary allied health environment, delivering meaningful outcomes for NDIS and community clients?

Our client is a growing allied health service provider delivering NDIS-funded and community-based rehabilitation services across Melbourne. Their focus is on person-centred care, supporting individuals to improve independence, mobility, and participation in everyday life through evidence-based therapy.

The team operates across clinic, home, and community settings, supporting clients of all ages with a strong emphasis on functional, goal-driven intervention.

As a Contractor Occupational Therapist, you will:

• Conduct functional capacity assessments and comprehensive OT reports
• Provide assistive technology assessments, recommendations, and trials
• Deliver home modifications assessments and equipment prescription
• Support clients with capacity-building interventions across daily living, cognition, and community participation
• Work with a varied caseload including NDIS participants, aged care clients, and community referrals
• Deliver therapy in clinic, home, and community environments
• Collaborate closely with families, carers, support coordinators, and other health professionals
• Maintain high-quality clinical documentation aligned with NDIS requirements
• Work independently while being supported by a multidisciplinary clinical team

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current AHPRA registration
• Valid Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong communication and report-writing skills
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
• Commitment to client-centred, evidence-based practice

• Experience in NDIS and community disability practice
• Experience with assistive technology and home modifications
• Background in paediatrics, aged care, or mixed caseloads
• Strong functional assessment and report writing experience
