This is a flexible contractor opportunity where you can work across NDIS, Medicare, aged care, and private clients, delivering meaningful, client-centred care across the lifespan.
🏥 About the RoleAs a Contractor Occupational Therapist, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive functional, sensory, psychosocial, and environmental assessments
- Develop goal-directed, culturally responsive care plans with clients and families
- Deliver trauma-informed, occupation-based interventions focused on independence and empowerment
- Support clients with self-care, community participation, mobility, and daily living goals
- Work with clients across physical, cognitive, developmental, and psychosocial presentations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary and community teams for holistic care delivery
- Use evidence-based tools to monitor outcomes and support continuous improvement
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and best practice service delivery
- Manage your own flexible caseload with support from a collaborative team

🎓 What You’ll BringQualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Current AHPRA registration
Experience
- Post-graduate experience in community, disability, private practice, or trauma-informed settings preferred
- Strong clinical reasoning and assessment/intervention planning skills
- Experience working within NDIS frameworks and documentation standards
- Confident working both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Additional Requirements
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Working With Children Check (Victoria)
- Current Victorian Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
