Hays is currently recruiting a contract administrator for a commercial construction company in Perth.
This company is constructing apartments in various locations such as Applecross, Subiaco, Scarbrough & other areas throughout Perth Metro.

As a Contract Administrator, your role will be post contract approval, managing the following:
- Reviewing tender packages to subcontractors
- Prepare progress claims and ensure timely submission to clients.
- Review subcontractor progress claims, verify work completed, and issue payment schedules.
- Track and manage project budgets, cost forecasts, commitments, and cash flow.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, cost-to-complete forecasts, and commercial summaries.
- Identify and assess potential variations, extensions of time (EOTs), and scope changes.
- Issue and negotiate variation claims with clients and subcontractors.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, Engineers, and Estimators to ensure project alignment.
- Attend project meetings and provide commercial updates.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve contract issues.
- Ensure documentation, RFIs, and correspondence are professionally managed and logged.

What you'll need to succeed
- Preferably a construction management degree or equivalent
- Prior experience in commercial construction as a contract administrator for a main contractor is essential
