About our client
AWX is partnering with a well-established civil construction company delivering high-quality infrastructure, maintenance and development projects across Townsville, Home Hill and the wider North Queensland region.
With a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork, our client provides ongoing opportunities for experienced Construction Workers to join a professional and supportive crew working across a variety of civil projects.
What you'll do
As a Construction Worker, you'll be involved in a range of hands-on tasks, including:
• Be part of meaningful civil infrastructure projects across North Queensland
• Carry out road maintenance duties including builds, repairs, maintenance & line marking
• Operating MR/HR vehicles
• Support the team with a range of general labouring duties as required
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment
What you'll need
• Based in Townsville
• Previous Civil experience across builds, repairs or maintenance to local roads, highways & bridges
• QLD MR or advanced Drivers licence
• Construction white card
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform outdoor, hands-on work daily
• Willingness to learn and work apart of a team
• Ability to work away, on call and night shifts when required
