Deliver major mission-critical data centre projects | Lead complex electrical packages
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to join an international engineering and construction management business delivering large-scale, mission-critical data centre projects.

This role will take ownership of the electrical construction scope, coordinating contractors, consultants and project stakeholders to ensure complex electrical infrastructure is delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

Your new role
As Construction Manager - Electrical, you will be responsible for the delivery of major electrical packages across the project, including:

• Managing HV/MV/LV distribution, utility connections and substations
• Overseeing transformers, switchgear, standby generators, UPS and associated electrical infrastructure
• Managing electrical contractors, consultants and key project stakeholders
• Coordinating interfaces between electrical, mechanical, structural and architectural disciplines
• Managing programme, cost and quality across the electrical works
• Driving construction safety, including permit-to-work and safe working practices
• Coordinating cable routes, containment, electrical rooms and plant interfaces
• Supporting FAT, SAT, commissioning, energisation and Integrated Systems Testing (IST)
• Managing utility and authority interfaces through approvals, inspections and energisation

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally bring:

• Significant construction management experience across major electrical projects
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, switchgear, transformers, generators and UPS systems
• Experience working within data centres, mission-critical infrastructure or similarly complex environments
• Strong contractor and stakeholder management capability
• Experience supporting the commissioning and testing of major electrical systems
• An Electrical Engineering qualification or relevant technical background
• Strong project management, communication and leadership skills
