    About the role:

    An exciting opportunity exists for a compassionate and motivated Speech Pathologist to join a growing and supportive team. Whether you're a new graduate looking for structured support or an experienced clinician seeking flexibility and autonomy, this role offers the opportunity to build a rewarding caseload while making a genuine impact in the community.

    The role involves working with clients across a range of settings, including homes, schools, day programs, clinics, and via telehealth where appropriate. Caseloads may include children, adolescents, and adults presenting with:

    • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
    • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
    • Attachment and trauma-related presentations
    • Speech and language delays
    • Social communication difficulties
    • Literacy challenges
    • AAC assessments and implementation
    • Feeding and swallowing concerns
    • Auditory processing difficulties

    Key responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive speech pathology assessments and evaluations
    • Develop and implement individualised therapy plans based on client goals and clinical reasoning
    • Complete assessment reports, progress reports, and NDIS review documentation
    • Provide therapy interventions and home practice recommendations
    • Prescribe and support Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) systems
    • Liaise with parents, carers, educators, support coordinators, and other healthcare professionals
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation and case notes
    • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based services while building strong therapeutic relationships

    Mandatory Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Speech Pathology
    • Current Membership with SPA
    • Current Australian Driving License and your own car
    • Have or are ready to obtain a WWCC, National Police Check and First Aid Training
    • Experience within the NDIS framework is preferred
    • ABN
