About the Role
An opportunity is available for an experienced Commercial Lawyer to take ownership of a diverse range of corporate, commercial and property matters.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys leading and managing complex transactions and partnering with clients to deliver strategic, business-focused outcomes. Working closely with the Director, you will play a key role in advising a broad client base and contributing to the continued growth of the practice. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing complex commercial, corporate and property transactions
- Advising on M&A, joint ventures, strategic alliances and partnerships
- Assisting clients with corporate governance, shareholding structures and shareholder matters
- Providing advice on funding arrangements, restructures and regulatory compliance
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts and transaction documents
- Working closely with the Director to deliver commercially practical legal solutions
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, internal systems and team collaboration
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this position, you will ideally have:
- A tertiary qualification in Law
- 2+ years PQE
- Proven experience across commercial and property law matters (non-litigation)
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills with attention to detail
- The ability to work autonomously while also contributing to a team-focused environment
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines and client expectations
- A proactive mindset and genuine commitment to continued professional development
