Commercial Fit Out Estimator - National Builder

Lead Group Recruitment is partnering with a well established Sydney commercial construction and fit out builder to find an experienced Estimator, paying up to $130K + super. (Nego)

With a national presence and a strong base of repeat clients, they deliver projects between a few hundred thousand up to $10 million across commercial office, retail, hospitality, education, health and refurbishment.

There's plenty of work coming through at the moment, and they're adding to an already large estimating team to keep up with demand.

About the role

You'll price commercial construction and fit out projects across a range of sectors, working with suppliers, subcontractors and the internal team to put together accurate, competitive tenders. Day to day, that means reviewing drawings and documentation, doing take offs, chasing and levelling quotes, and turning briefs into proposals that win work.

The estimating team is big, but they works together. People share the load, help each other out on busy tenders, and there's always someone to bounce ideas off. You'll report to a supportive manager who genuinely invests in their people, with a real focus on personal development and growing staff within the business. What you'll bring

• Estimating experience with a head contractor or builder (essential)
• Confident using Cubit, Bluebeam or similar estimating software
• A good understanding of the tender process
• Confident reading drawings and preparing take offs
• Able to juggle multiple tenders and tight deadlines
• A confident communicator, comfortable dealing with clients
• A team player who works well with internal and external stakeholders
• Background in construction, quantity surveying or similar
