AustCorp Executive is partnering with a well-established Australian manufacturer in Brisbane to find an experienced CNC Laser Operator. If you know your way around a laser and want steady, well-paid work on quality equipment, this is a role worth a look.
The Pay
- $36–$40 per hour base, depending on your experience
What You’ll Be Doing
- Setting up and operating CNC laser cutting machines.
- Loading and unloading sheet metal and selecting the right programs.
- Monitoring cuts and machine performance to keep quality high.
- Reading engineering drawings and checking finished parts.
- Flagging quality or production issues early.
- Working alongside the production and programming teams.
- Keeping your work area clean, safe and organised.
What You’ll Bring
- Hands-on experience operating a CNC laser cutter.
- A background in sheet metal manufacturing or fabrication.
- Confidence reading engineering drawings.
- A sharp eye for detail and pride in quality work.
- Reliability and the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
- Experience with TRUMPF, LVD or similar machines is a big plus.
