Cloud IAM Engineer

$1400 + super per day
Our Client is a government agency is seeking an experienced Cloud IAM Engineer to support the integration of SailPoint and Microsoft Entra ID with its Azure and AWS environments.
The project will move existing access arrangements to a standardised role-based model, replacing individually assigned permissions and supporting the onboarding of additional government agencies. You’ll work across identity integration, cloud access management and migration, helping establish a consistent approach to how access is provisioned and managed.
What you’ll do
- Support the integration of SailPoint and Entra ID with Azure and AWS for identity provisioning and access management.
- Migrating existing identities, groups and access assignments to a standardised role-based access model.
- Implementing Azure RBAC and managed identity configurations, and supporting role-based access across AWS.
- Working directly with agency stakeholders to coordinate onboarding, resolve access issues and manage migration exceptions.
- Deploying standard identity and access configurations using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and DevOps tooling.
- Representing the project in change advisory meetings and providing technical input on migration activities.
- Decommissioning superseded identity components following successful migration.
What we'd love to see
- 5+ years’ experience in IAM, identity engineering or cloud engineering with a strong identity focus.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID in enterprise environments.
- Experience integrating identity platforms with Azure and AWS and managing access to cloud resources.
- Strong knowledge of role-based access control, Azure managed identities and identity federation.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and Azure DevOps tooling.
- The ability to explain complex technical issues, work directly with customers and take ownership of migration tasks.
