Case Manager - Tenancy Plus Program

Tradewind Australia is partnering with a community services organisation in Melbourne (Victoria) to recruit a Case Manager for the Tenancy Plus Program. This role involves supporting tenants to sustain their housing and build tenancy skills, making a tangible difference in their lives. About the Role
You will manage a caseload of tenants, providing tailored support and casework within a strengths-based, client-centered framework. Your work will focus on assisting individuals to maintain their tenancies and develop the skills needed for long-term housing stability.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with tenants to assess their needs and develop personalised support plans
• Provide ongoing tenancy and life skills support to assist clients in maintaining their housing
• Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to coordinate services
• Monitor progress and adapt strategies to meet tenants' evolving needs
• Maintain accurate case notes and documentation in accordance with organisational protocols

What You'll Bring
Essential

• Relevant qualification in social work, community services, or a related field
• Experience in tenancy support, case management or a similar role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid Australian Working with Children Check and/or relevant clearances

Desirable

• Previous experience working with vulnerable or at-risk populations
• Knowledge of tenancy laws and housing policies in Victoria
