About the role

We have an opportunity to join the team as a Business Development Executive. This role will work closely with clients and our legal teams in developing, implementing and driving marketing and business development plans and initiatives across NSW State and Local Government, as well as the Construction & Projects, Real Estate and Public law practice groups. Furthermore this role will focus on seeking opportunities to enhance our relationship with our clients by taking a creative approach to client service, bid processes and innovation in business development. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and deliver business development initiatives across NSW Government and aligned sector practices
  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns, thought leadership, events and webinars
  • Lead pursuits and tenders, including preparation of tenders and capability statements
  • Conduct client research and market analysis to support opportunity development
  • Support client feedback programs, service reviews and key client plans
  • Draft, capture and refine content in the firm’s bid system and playbooks
  • Lead directory and awards submissions and maintain tender and submission registers
  • Identify new client opportunities, emerging service areas and growth initiatives
  • Contribute to broader business development and marketing projects as required

About You

In order to be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience working in a similar role within a corporate or professional services environment
  • Experience in co-ordinating marketing and communications activities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills alongside strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Be an effective team-player, a can-do attitude and great interpersonal skills
