Your new role
Due to continued growth, an opportunity has become available for an experienced Boilermaker/Welder to join the team in a busy workshop environment. In this hands-on role, you will carry out a range of welding and fabrication tasks across structural steel, plate work and pipework, working with materials including carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminium. Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings and working to qualified welding procedures while maintaining high-quality standards, youll be expected to manage your workload efficiently with minimal supervision, adhere to strict safety requirements and meet production schedules, with occasional site work as required.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered, you will be an experienced and trade-qualified Welder who can demonstrate the following:
- Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication Trade)
- Proven experience working in a workshop environment
- Strong fabrication background across a wide range of industrial work
- Solid experience in plate fabrication
- Experience working with carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminium
- Proficient in MIG welding
- Ability to accurately read and interpret fabrication drawings and plans
- Experience working to qualified welding procedures
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- High level of attention to detail
- Experience working within quality-controlled environments
- A reliable, proactive approach with strong initiative.
