Boilermaker | Full time permanent | Monday - Friday | $50hr - $65hr

This is a unique opportunity to be involved in the fabrication and manufacture of new drill rigs, support vehicles, and specialised mining equipment, contributing directly to the growth of a modern fleet and ongoing operational success.
Working within a modern workshop environment, you will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, modification, and welding of drilling and mining equipment to the highest safety and quality standards.
Your new role
- Fabrication and manufacture of new drill rigs and associated equipment
- Structural steel fabrication and welding
- Assembly and fit-up of components and sub-assemblies
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and fabrication plans
- MIG, FCAW and stick welding to specification
- Installation of brackets, guards, platforms, handrails and structural components
- Operating workshop equipment and tooling safely
- Working closely with mechanical trades and production teams
- Ensuring all work is completed to quality, safety and production requirements
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
What you'll need to succeed
- Australian recognised Trade Certificate (Boilermaker/Fabricator)
- Previous experience within heavy fabrication, mining, drilling, transport, or mobile plant industries
- Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
- Strong welding and fabrication skills
- Experience manufacturing heavy equipment, machinery, or vehicles highly regarded
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Full Australian working rights
