Allstar Blue are currently seeking experienced Belt Splicers / Belt Technicians for Permanent Perth Based / FIFO positions inWA.
The Role will consist of working a fixed roster 12:9 or 3:1 and will involve working both within the workshop and onsite. Key Responsibilities: *Belt Splicing, Repairs, Maintenance and Installations to: Steel Cord, Fabric, Solid Woven and Ply belts. *Contribute towards the companies safety policies *Report any incidents, hazards or near misses *Assist with creating splice reports *Coordinate workflow, crew and the equipment *Perform hot and cold repairs *Perform pulley lagging and apply mechanical clips *Identify common belt damage/faults and determine method of repair *Conduct belt audits Requirements: *Good knowledge of all forms of Belt Splicing and Installations *Extensive Steel cord experience *Strong commitment to Safety *An understanding of high integrity splicing procedures Our client's looking for experienced Belt Splicers who are wanting to progress their careers to the next stage.
