Are you an experienced procurement and contract management professional looking for an opportunity to contribute to meaningful national programs?. In this role, you will provide advice and support across procurement, contract administration, financial management and program coordination activities. Working within a supportive and inclusive environment, you will engage with stakeholders nationally, manage competing priorities and contribute to the successful delivery of projects and services.
Your new role

  • Manage procurement activities in accordance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs)
  • Support contract administration, monitoring and supplier engagement activities
  • Provide financial management and administrative support
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with governance requirements
  • Draft reports, briefs, correspondence and other written materials
  • Respond to enquiries from internal stakeholders and external clients
  • Support project delivery and operational outcomes across multiple locations
  • Conduct data analysis, information audits and database management
  • Coordinate travel and other logistical arrangements as required
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed
You will bring experience working within the Australian Public Service or broader Commonwealth Government environment, with a strong background in procurement and contract management. The ideal candidate will have managed facilities, maintenance, property or service-based contracts through Commonwealth panels and procurement frameworks, with a sound understanding of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and the PGPA Act 2013. Experience providing financial oversight of procurement activities, maintaining stakeholder relationships and delivering compliant contract outcomes will be highly regarded.
