About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Business Support Officer to join a busy Work Order Management team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring work orders progress efficiently from initiation through to completion, supporting accurate billing, timely service delivery and strong operational outcomes.
Working within a fast-paced environment, you will investigate and resolve work order exceptions, liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders, manage financial adjustments and maintain accurate operational records.
Key responsibilities include:
- Investigate and resolve work order and work request exceptions.
- Monitor outstanding work orders and proactively drive progression and completion.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding job status, delays, outstanding documentation, and invoice submissions.
- Process journals, credits, account reconciliations and financial adjustments as required.
- Create and maintain job cards to support field operations.
- Review, update, and close work orders in line with billing and business requirements.
- Identify discrepancies impacting service delivery and escalate issues when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across multiple business systems.
- Support operational teams through effective administration and stakeholder engagement.
About You
This position is ideal for candidates with strong administration, work order management, invoicing, and problem-solving experience.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Previous experience in administration, work order management, operational support, or a similar environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate discrepancies and exceptions.
- High attention to detail, particularly when working with financial information, billing, invoices, and work orders.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and Outlook.
- Basic financial administration experience, including journals, credits, invoicing, or reconciliations is highly desirable.
