Location: Newcastle, NSW
Employment Type: Full-time, part-time available
Salary: EBA-aligned rates from approximately $74,000 - $111,000 + super, depending on registration, experience and classification, plus applicable penalties and allowances where relevant.
Based on current NSW nursing rates:
- Endorsed Enrolled Nurse: approx. $74,000 - $83,000 + super
- Registered Nurse: approx. $79,000 - $111,000 + super
Are you an experienced Anaesthetic Nurse looking for flexibility, variety and a strong perioperative team environment?
This is a great opportunity for a Registered Nurse or Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with anaesthetic nursing experience to join a busy private theatre department in the Newcastle region.
You'll be working as part of a supportive perioperative team, assisting patients and anaesthetists throughout the surgical journey and helping deliver safe, calm and high-quality care in theatre.
The Role
As an Anaesthetic Nurse, you will support the anaesthetist and wider theatre team during perioperative procedures. You'll be part of a fast-paced surgical environment with exposure to a broad range of specialties, including orthopaedics, urology, bariatrics, endoscopy, ENT, vascular, gynaecology, ophthalmology, plastics and more.
This role would suit someone who enjoys theatre work, values teamwork, and wants the flexibility to choose full-time or part-time employment.

About You
You will be an experienced Anaesthetic Nurse who is confident working in theatre and committed to delivering excellent patient care.
You'll bring:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Endorsed Enrolled Nurse
- Full working rights for Australia
- Previous experience working as an Anaesthetic Nurse
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Final remuneration will depend on classification, experience, employment type and applicable EBA conditions.
