Job description
The Role
Join one of our client's almond orchard operations in the Robinvale region as an Orchard Assistant or Orchard Technician, with full training provided - no prior agriculture experience needed. This hands-on role has you working outdoors across irrigation, tree care and seasonal production, whether you're new to the industry or already have some orchard experience. It's a great fit if you enjoy physical outdoor work, take safety seriously, and want a role that keeps you on your feet.
Key Responsibilities
You'll play an important role in supporting orchard operations, ensuring trees, equipment and irrigation systems are maintained to a high standard while assisting the team with seasonal production activities.
- Operate orchard machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with irrigation installation, maintenance and repairs
- Complete general orchard maintenance tasks
- Support seasonal orchard activities as directed
- Always follow workplace health and safety procedures
- Perform additional duties as requested by the supervisor

Your Skills & Experience
- No previous agriculture experience required
- Current driver's licence
- Unrestricted, ongoing work rights in Australia
- Comfortable with manual outdoor work, including lifting and standing for long period.
- Willing to work in varying weather conditions
- Reliable, safety-conscious and able to follow instructions.
- Works well independently and in a team
- Prior orchard or machinery experience a plus, not essential
