Are you ready to lead our afternoon shift operations at Laminex Tullamarine?
We’re looking for a confident, hands-on Afternoon Shift Supervisor to support the Afternoon Shift Manager and help lead our warehouse team. This is a salaried position with a 17.5% loading, working in the Afternoon Shift, starting times may vary. 

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading daily warehouse and despatch operations.
  • Allocating work and monitoring productivity, picking accuracy and team performance.
  • Checking completed orders and truck loads before despatch.
  • Ensuring loads are accurate, safe and secure before leaving the site.
  • Coaching team members and addressing performance concerns or workplace conflict fairly and professionally.
  • Investigating picking and loading errors and implementing practical improvements.
  • Maintaining strong safety, quality and compliance standards.
  • Working with other departments to achieve accurate, on-time deliveries.

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous warehouse, despatch or logistics leadership experience.
  • A confident and approachable people leader who can build strong working relationships.
  • Strong communication, coaching and conflict-resolution skills.
  • The ability to make decisions and independently run the shift when required.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on picking and loading accuracy.
  • Knowledge of warehouse systems, RF scanning, inventory control and load restraint.
  • A proactive approach to safety, performance and continuous improvement.
  • A current forklift licence is a must. 
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word, and WMS.
  • Experience in supply chain scheduling, warehouse planning, and analysis.
  • Understanding of OH&S and COR legislation and responsibilities.
