Accounts Receivable Officer

Position Description
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will receive comprehensive training and ongoing support while taking ownership of a diverse accounts receivable portfolio

• • Manage daily collections activities and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Allocate incoming payments and investigate payment discrepancies
  • Perform account reconciliations and resolve outstanding issues promptly
  • Negotiate and establish payment arrangements with customers where required
  • Assess credit applications and facilitate the onboarding of new customer accounts
  • Prepare debtor reports and provide regular updates on outstanding balances
  • Support the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks and process improvement initiatives

Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will also have the following attributes:

• • Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable, Credit Officer or similar position
  • Strong reconciliation and account investigation skills
  • Proven experience in collections and managing debtor accounts
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
  • A proactive, organised approach and strong attention to detail
