Managing daily cash allocations and receipting, ensuring incoming payments are accurately matched to the appropriate customer accounts

Processing customer refunds and preparing journals, with appropriate supporting documentation and approvals
-
Completing regular balance sheet and account reconciliations, including AMEX reconciliations, and investigating any discrepancies
-
Assisting with BAS preparation by compiling relevant information, reviewing transaction data and supporting the wider finance team
-
Providing broader finance support across general ledger reconciliations, month-end activities and ad hoc accounting tasks as required
Your Background
To be successful, you will bring strong accounts receivable experience together with exposure to assistant accounting duties.
You will also have:
-
Immediately Available and committed to the full six-month assignment
-
Strong accounts receivable experience, particularly allocations and receipting
-
Previous exposure to assistant accounting duties and account reconciliations
-
The ability to work independently once established in the role
-
A collaborative approach and a strong fit with a friendly, lean team environment
-
Experience with Oracle, Espace or Concur will be advantageous
