Accounts Officer Finance

Your new roleWill see you supporting financial reporting across several business entities. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll prepare accurate weekly and monthly reporting, manage financial administration, and ensure smooth coordination across different operational areas.

This role also includes dottedline oversight of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and NSWbased administrative staff, ensuring consistency, accuracy and strong communication across the group.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing financial and operational reports using advanced Excel.
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting and jobcosting activities.
  • Overseeing financial administration across entities, including invoice processing, reconciliations and expense tracking.
  • Coordinating office operations, supplier management, onboarding, facilities and workflow improvements.
  • Providing leadership, guidance and workflow coordination to AP, AR and admin functions.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements across construction, manufacturing, property and farming entities.
  • Supporting senior leaders with project coordination and operational insight.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis, dashboarding).
  • Must have experience with MYOB or Xero.
  • Strong financial reporting and administration capability.
  • Experience supporting or overseeing AP/AR functions (directly or via dottedline).
  • High sense of urgency, strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutionsfocused approach.
  • Confidence working across multiple business units and stakeholders.
