Location: Spring Farm, NSW
Pay Rate: $37.00 per hour + overtime penalties

 Our client, national supplier of specialised and purpose-built container solutions are currently seeking an experienced 2nd Class Welder / Container Repairer for a hands-on role in Spring Farm. This position involves the repair and modification of shipping containers and is ideal for someone who is mechanically minded, reliable, and confident using both hand and power tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and repair shipping containers
  • Cut out rusted or damaged metal sections
  • MIG weld replacement panels
  • Patch up and modification work
  • Perform patch and paint work
  • Use power tools such as grinders, hammers, drills, etc.

Requirements:

  • MIG welding experience (2nd class level or above)
  • Solid experience with hand and power tools
  • Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Able to follow instructions and work both independently and in a team
  • Full work rights
  • Physically fit as there will be manual handling involved
  • Able to pass a full Per-employment medical including a Drug and Alcohol screening
